Nursery and Pre-K

At Blue Mountain Baptist Church, we believe that providing safe, caring environments for children is a huge way we can show love to not only the children, but also their families. We provide safe, quiet, gentle care so parents can go deeper in their relationships with the Lord and others in our services. We also teach babies through fun, impactful mini-lessons, playtime, and reading to them.

We are constantly striving to make our facility as fun and welcoming as we can. Using The Gospel Project for Kids, a three-year chronological Bible study, we partner with parents through music, games, crafts, and small-group teaching.

Children's ministry FAQ

A few of the questions we hear most often.

Stop by the Kids check-in desk. A greeter will walk you through registration, show you the nursery and classroom areas, and answer any questions before the service starts.

Sunday School uses The Gospel Project, a Bible-based curriculum that walks through the whole story of Scripture over time. Living Proof works through apologetics and everyday faith questions.

All volunteers serving with kids go through an application, an interview, and a background check before they are placed. Two adults are always present.

If your child needs you, we will come find you. You are always welcome to be in the room with them, especially in the nursery on a first visit.
